SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS

Each year, your generous contributions make it possible for the Star & Crescent Foundation to grant numerous academic scholarships and awards to deserving members of the University of Minnesota community. Below are the various scholarships offered annually by the Star & Crescent Foundation:

JACK & CAROL SHARP IT SCHOLARSHIP
Star and Crescent Foundation

Formed in 2007 and funded by the generous gifts from Jack and Carol Sharp (Class of 1966), this scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota who are working toward an IT degree such as engineering or computer science. This scholarship is awarded annually. To apply, click the link below.

BRUCE ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP

Founded in 2015, this scholarship is awarded to one undergraduate at the University of Minnesota who is also a member of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity. The scholarships is given for academic excellence and recipients must be a current student in the year the award is given and must provide a transcript from the University as part of the application process. Created in memory of Bruce Anderson (Class of 1976), this award is given annually at a banquet held in February. To apply, click the link below.

DOUGLAS F. WATSON SCHOLARSHIP

College is expensive. The Douglas F. Watson Scholarship was created to assist students at the University of Minnesota with their room and board costs. Given annually to multiple students, this scholarship is granted directly to the individual to subsidize rent and meal costs while attending the University. To apply, click the link below.
